How Much Does a Corporate Video Cost?
Most corporate videos we make cost between £3,500 and £6,000 plus VAT. The final price comes down to one thing: how many days the project takes to plan, film and edit.
We're S-Works Studio, a video production company based in Hitchin. For more than 10 years we've made films for businesses across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridge and London. This guide shows exactly how we price a corporate video, so you can budget before you pick up the phone.
Why there's no single price
Two corporate videos can look alike and cost very different amounts. A two-minute company overview filmed in one office is a very different job from a film shot across three sites with interviews, drone footage and animated graphics.
So we price by the day, not by the video. You only pay for the time your project actually needs.
Our day rates (plus VAT)
Pre-production and planning: £400 per day
Filming, one camera operator with kit: £750 per day
Second camera operator: £450 per day, or £750 with their own kit
Editing: £450 per day
Animation and motion graphics: £450 per day
Filming kit includes camera, tripod, lighting and audio equipment. We book full days only, because half days almost always turn into full days anyway.
What a typical corporate video includes
One day of planning. We agree the message, write the plan, scout locations and schedule the shoot. Most clients don't know how long this takes, and one day is usually enough.
One or two days of filming. Corporate shoots often use a second camera operator, especially for interviews, so you get two angles.
One or two days of editing. One day is the minimum. You see a first cut and give feedback before we deliver the final version.
That's why most corporate videos land in the £3,500 to £6,000 range. Larger multi-day productions can run to £8,000 or more.
Extras that change the price
Drone filming: from £500, with a fully insured pilot, flight checks, flight approval and RAMS.
Animation and graphics: £450 per day.
Voiceover: AI voiceover from £100, or a professional voiceover artist from £350.
Fast turnaround: an extra £450, because we put a second editor on the project.
Example
A corporate film with one day of planning, two days of filming with two camera operators (the second with kit) and two days of editing comes to: £400 + £3,000 + £900 = £4,300 plus VAT. Add a drone (from £500) and a voiceover artist (from £350), and it's around £5,150 plus VAT.
